Endlich ist es soweit- ich reise nach Amsterdam, meine kanadischen und amerikanischen Freunde sind seit dem Morgen auch schon da. Ich freue mich schon auf den morgigen Tag.
Amsterdam empfängt uns mit Sonnenschein.
Ein Besuch in Amsterdam ist für mich immer etwas Besonderes , für mich ist die Stadt fast ein zweites Zuhause, nachdem ich ein paar Monate hier leben durfte . - Und dieses Mal wird die Reise auch noch mit André Rieu Konzerten in der Amsterdam Arena gekrönt.
Als erstes suche ich die vertrauten Stätten auf - nahe dem Königlichen Palais und der Beurs van Berlage habe ich auch mein Quartier. Einmal kurz über den Blumenmarkt am Singel, danach ein indonesisches Restaurant mit Reistafel - ein Muß! Ich liebe diese Küche.
Danach geht es zur Candle Light Bootstour - die beleuchteten Grachten am Abend vom Boot aus sind auch für mich ein neues Erlebnis.
Finally the day has come - I travel to Amsterdam, my Canadian and American friends arrived in the morning. I am looking forward for tomorrow.
Amsterdam welcomes us with sunshine.
A visit in Amsterdam is for me always something special, the city is like a second home for me, after I had the opportunity to spend a couple of months here. And this time my journey is high lightened by the concerts of André Rieu in the Amsterdam Arena.
First I stroll through familiar sites - close to the Royal Palais and the exchange I have my accomodation. A short trip to the flower market at Singel, then an Indonesian Restaurant with Rice table - a must ! I love this cuisine.
After that I have a candle light boat tour - the illuminated canals seen from a boat are a new experience for me.
