all comes to an end - yesterday the Germany tour finished in Frankfurt. We were lucky to be there at the Festhalle. And we can confirm, yes, they were indeed cute, the little singers of the Frankfurt children's choir.
One of the little ladies even didn't want to disengage André, when they bowed with André and Carmen after the song. André seemed to be amused,too. The time passed too quickly - like always. I will miss them. If the Berlin Comedian Harmonists or Carmen will return ? Who knows ? It was a pleasure to listen, I loved the songs of the Harmonist, the Czardas Princess Medley, and "You never walk alone", not to forget the solo of Mirusia "Memories" and the Italian songs, performed by the Platin Tenors.
Tuesday evening I went to Wetzlar which is not far from Frankfurt.
The Arena is close to the shopping centre and easy to reach.
This evening André told us, that Leon became father on Sunday and of cause he opened the evening by asking the audience if he didn't look different because he became an Opa of 3 grandchildren.
Highlights were the solo parts of Leon: "ole Guappa", Manoe: Hava Nagila and Tanja : "Le Cigne". Like always I feared for Carmen's beautiful classical voice, when she is interpreting "the Earth Song".
